We live our lives in a linear fashion as the universe deals in its circular motion.

We live our lives in a linear fashion as the universe deals in its circular motion. We spend our time looking for the light as we stumble in the dark. Ever reaching out for a connection with others as we blind ourselves to the connection we have to everything.

We fear what we do not know or understand as we hate what we see in others that we first hate within ourselves. We can not forgive ourselves so we find it hard to forgive others. Yet we love others far easier than ourselves and find ourselves still feeling alone.

We need to let go of preconceived notions and embrace the commonality between all things. We need to open up to possibilities instead of closing off new opportunities. We seek acceptance of others but find it hard to accept ourselves.

We all are part of the whole, yet we hold on to the misconception that we are totally individual and alone. We distance ourselves from others in a sad attempt to keep ourselves free of pain. Being distant only brings us emptiness and feeds the loneliness within us.

Hope is what we seek, but some of us seem to embrace that which is bleak, Faith is what we desire to obtain but doubting is a habit we find hard to quit. Questioning is good only if it leads us to some kind of epiphany or truth.

We live our lives in a linear fashion as the universe deals in its circular motion. Walking the path of life step by step putting one foot after the other. Evolving as an individual and as a species within the infinite vastness of the universe.

Learn to love unconditionally, be compassionate and find understanding for your fellow humans

Hate is a very infectious and overwhelming emotion, it consumes you when it is in your heart. It blinds you to the love around you and it keeps you from being able to love those around you. Hate can come from fear, it can come from the feeling of not being in control, it has many sources but only love can help stop the hate.

We as humans get too wrapped up in our own minds to listen to our hearts sometimes. We tend to join in with what our peers think or do too quickly and without thinking about how it will affect others and ourselves. We also tend to like to rally against a common enemy or cause, it makes us feel like we are a part of something. We forget to look and think for ourselves when we get too focused on the moment.

Most religions teach us to love each other and embrace forgiveness. Unfortunately, some people get too wrapped up in seeing the sins of others instead of seeing the actual person that is sinning. They should love everyone for who and what they are, for no one is perfect and no one can live life without sinning in one way or another. You do not have to agree with how everyone else chooses to live their life, you however should respect everyone’s right to choose how they want to live.

I believe and have been taught that we all have been given the right to choose our paths in life, free will, and all. Who are we to say how another person must live or worship? We are not here to judge one another or to dictate how others should live or behave, we are here to help and love one another. Look beyond a person’s mistakes, sins, color, religion, or any other thing that you may want to dislike and see the person beneath all of that.

That person you are persecuting, hating, or harassing because of the choices you dislike is a human being. They are someone’s father, mother, sister, brother, daughter, or son. They could have been your friend or the person who could have helped you down the road when you needed help.

This world is already hard enough to live in, so why create more anger and pain in it when you could find love for your fellow human beings? We have much more pressing issues in this world than a lot of what people are getting worked up about. We have a world war looming around the corner if we are not careful, and it won’t be one any side will come out victorious and without tragedy.

Regardless if you believe in global warming or not, there has been an increase in disastrous weather events across the world. Viral outbreaks, food shortages, and clean water shortages have become more commonplace as well. On top of that, it seems that we are experiencing an uptick in mental illness which in turn adds to the current problem of violence and crime in the world.

Too many voices out there trying to divide, confuse and spread hate along with chaos. Not enough voices out there trying to spread love, compassion, and understanding. Too many people believe conspiracy theories over facts and science. Too many people have lost faith and trust in our governments and news agencies. Hard for many to know who or what they can believe nowadays.

And still the poor are getting poorer and the rich are always getting richer. The homeless, elderly, and childless are forgotten or cast aside in this world. People point fingers at one another instead of offering a hand to help. Some hold on to the past and won’t let go of either what they saw as the glory days, then there are those that can not let go of the mistakes and pain of the past.

We have so much to address as a species, but first, we must stop the hate and division so we can work together to make this world a better place. Learn to love unconditionally, be compassionate and find understanding for your fellow humans.

Remember the side of yourself that is playful, that loves to create and explore.

Within each of us, there is the creative force that stirs underneath all of the complications we have embraced and allowed to grow in our psyche. That creative and curious side of our nature we once embraced as a child and decided to bury under all of our expectations and self-imposed regulations when we become what we call an adult. As we grew up we closed off the side of ourselves that had wonder and desired to be creative and free to express ourselves.

As adults, we are told to behave in a certain way and act what is considered mature by society. We are taught to restrict that side of ourselves that wants to play, create, be friendly, and enjoy life so that we can focus on being productive in the workplace and responsible in society. Some people still embrace that side of themselves and usually they wind up being laughed at or shunned by some people. I say Laugh at me if I am having fun and being myself, it just proves that what I am doing is fun.

It is said that having children keeps you young and that may well be because around our children we too can let go and be childlike. Children remind us of how to live and see life, even if it’s only for a short period and usually only at home. Then the other end of the age spectrum is the elderly, there is a percentage of them that return to the more childlike version of themselves, not due to any mental issues, it is due to the fact that they got to the point where they realize that what others think about them has no significance when it comes to being happy or their self-worth.

In our beginnings, we just are ourselves and hope others will accept us as we are. Even if they don’t we still continue being ourselves and growing as a person. Then we become overly concerned about the opinions of our peers and family, and we start modeling our behaviors and mentality after those we see having the most success in being liked around us. Eventually, we become a mix of our own self and that which society considers acceptable and popular. Then we become wiser as we age and go back to trying to be ourselves, stripping away all the garbage we collected during our lifetime.

To those of you in the earlier years of life, I say be yourself and do not worry about those that look at you funny or make fun of you. Avoid that kind of people and find those more like yourself. Bullying and hate will always exist in this world, we may not be able to totally remove those things from society but we can the people who are bullies and propagate hate to a smaller percentage of our society. Also, remember the bully is also a human and may be facing some issues either at home or in society and may need help in one way or another.

To those of you in your adult years, try to remember the side of yourself that is playful, that loves to create and explore. Find time to let that side of yourself out when you can. Balance being a responsible adult and being your real self. To those of you who are in the later years of your life try not to let bitterness, regret, and fear stop you from being who you are and enjoying life. What has been in the past, what you can not control is something you need to let go of and find happiness at the moment as you embrace those moments and things that make you happy as well as thankful for.

And most of all, young people respect and appreciate those who are older than you, because one day you will be one of them. Adults and elderly people need to respect and appreciate the young as well, they are the future and we all were young like them once as well. Times may change but the fact that we all go from young to old has not. So respect one another and learn from each other my friends, and be the creative, adventurous, and expressive person you were born to be.

Online Families, Real and Important

In this modern age, the old practice of writing letters between penpals has pretty much faded into the anals of history. Now it is all social media, online communities, email, and chat programs. Sometimes you get lucky and find yourself extended family online, and if you are really lucky you will find someone who is like a real family member. Just because you never meet physically does not mean the friendship you built is any less valid or important to you.

I have been fortunate enough to be a part of one such family, I belong to a community on a 3d environment platform called Activeworlds (www.activeworlds.com) and have been building 3d cities and worlds for decades along side some of the most unique individuals I have ever known. Sure the community is like a somewhat dysfunctional family at times but I love everyone there. Even those who probably do not like me very much.

Just like in real life, I have lost quite a few people who were like real family to me, most of them to death a few to circumstances or they just moved on for one reason or another. Each one of them as they left our community took a piece of me and the community with them. Currently, I am praying for a few of those people in Activeworlds that are dealing with some medical issues of their own. I also worry over one or two that decided to either leave the community or just decided to no longer communicate with me.

The point is, does not matter if it is online, or if its in real life. Friends are friends, and they all mean something to your heart and soul. Just don’t forget those friends online are real people and need your support and deserve respect as well. Cherrish them for there is no guarantee of how long any of us are here on this shiny blue marble we call home. That really goes for both online and real-life people, life is short so forgive, forget and embrace those in your life that you have been blessed with to have as family and friends.

Be good to one another, rememebr to be kind and respectful.

You, Your Opinions, and Your Voice Matter.

Everyone’s voice is important, every person’s opinion counts in this world. There are many out there that try to make you feel unimportant and insignificant but do not allow them to succeed in doing such things. Learn to speak your mind, but do so with respect for others. If you are the type of person that can not speak up alone, then find like-minded people to help you to get your message and voice heard. As they always say, there is strength in numbers.

Unfortunately, you will occasionally run across bullies in life that want to suppress you out of fear of you and your message and abilities. Most of the time people bully others out of fear of either being bullied themselves or to prevent others from succeeding or surpassing them. But if enough like-minded people join together it becomes harder for the bully to accomplish their goals through intimidation.

Fear can be beneficial, but if you allow it to control you then it is something of a roadblock. Fear is there to prevent you from being seriously harmed by a predator or severe catastrophe. But sometimes we allow fear to keep us from stepping up or speaking up and even worse sometimes we allow our fear to keep us from living and enjoying our lives. So do not let fear control you, speak your mind and live your life to the fullest.

It takes every voice to make a choir sound good, it takes every one of us to make this world better. Many want you to believe that they know what is good for you and that your opinion means nothing. They are not motivated so much by your well-being as much as they are by their greed and lust for power in the end. Sure some may have good intentions but a great number of them are all about being in control and monopolizing wealth.

This is why we need more people to speak up and stand up for all of us, the common people. Write those congressmen/congresswomen and get them to do the job we voted them in to do. They are there to protect and serve us citizens more so than to play to the base of just their political part and spew out rhetoric. We need to also stand up against the powers of big business, big pharma, and their greed.

It is quite disturbing how much more U.S. citizens have to pay for prescription drugs compared to other countries and how many advertisements from pharmaceutical companies we have to endure on television and radio nowadays. They can afford to blast advertisements every 15 minutes on television but yet they claim they have to keep their drug prices high due to research costs. Sounds a bit fishy to me lol.

Well, get out there and let your opinions be known and get your voices heard. Think for yourself and don’t follow anyone or anything blindly.

Life is short so we need to embrace life and love full-heartedly

As we age, most of us face times when we feel as if we are burdens on others, that we are not wanted, needed, or loved. This is pretty normal I believe, we tend to value our own worth by the actions, reactions, and words of others. As much as we all know that we shouldn’t rely on others to establish our self-worth, we still do to a degree. So when life gets hectic, overwhelming,, and full of distractions, those we love don’t always show us attention, and become irritable and stressed. We sometimes get the end of all the stressors in our loved ones’ lives, they unintentionally unload all the frustrations and stress on us.

This can lead us to believe that we are no longer loved, wanted, or needed in their lives. We must remember that everyone has stress and life can be challenging for us all. We need to put away our insecurities and help our loved ones. Once we are able to stop worrying over if they do or don’t love us or need us etc., then we can work on helping them through the turbulence that life loves to throw at us all. We love them, and more than likely they love us as well, they chose to be with us in the beginning or are our blood relatives and will continue to be by our side.

Wasting so much time and energy worrying about if you are loved, wanted, or if someone sees you as a burden is pointless. Instead, we should use all that time and energy on making life easier and happier for everyone involved. Love is supposed to be a shared experience, unconditional and selfless. Though it may occasionally dip and sway off track it should always return to its course. I say just love the person you love with all your heart and let the rest take care of itself, don’t waste your precious time on worry or doubts. Life is short so we need to embrace life and love full-heartedly.

Just some thoughts on U.F.O./U.A.P. and E.T.s

I always thought as a child that there was more out in the universe than just us humans far as life is concerned. I was an avid believer in UFOs / UAPs as well as a child. As I grew older I of course kind of put away such things as believing in little green men or at least I stopped thinking about that subject. Now as I am getting up in age my mind has begun contemplating the idea once again.

My way of looking at it is that with such a vast universe, having only 1 small blue planet with sentient life would be such a waste of space, and also believing we are the only intelligent life forms in the said universe is a tad bit arrogant. Far as the ancient alien theory goes, I do not totally subscribe to the notion that humans are so helpless they could not build anything on a grand scale like the pyramids. There is no reason for me to believe that we required help from some extraterrestrial source to build or achieve what we had in history.

I can not rule out the possibility that there was some influence or help from an extraterrestrial race, but I have not seen anything that proves to me that there was at this time. Sure some of the things humans have done in the past can be a bit perplexing due to the known technology that ancient people possessed during the time of such megalithic builds like the Egyptian pyramids. I believe we do not possess all the knowledge of what technologies and techniques the ancient humans may have had, I believe we just have a general idea of what they may have had.

I believe as we discover new technology and further our scientific knowledge we may discover how humans achieved what they did back in history. We also may discover life outside of our solar system and maybe even outside our spiral galaxy. Some want to think if there are other living beings out there in the universe that somehow would cause conflict with the religious community and their belief systems.

From one Christian’s point of view, I have not found anywhere in the bible where it says that there are no others in the universe, nor have I found where it had anything in it saying that there are others either. I just do not see what difference it would make if God were to have more than just one planet he created life on. Some may disagree with my opinion concerning this, but I still feel it is quite arrogant to think we are the only ones in the universe.

Now that the U.S. Government released videos containing what they call UAPs, it at least gives some credibility to the subject. You tie that together with the privatization of space exploration, we may see more money being available for scientific research of UFOs/UAPs and related subjects. Maybe the age-old stigma associated with UFO sightings and so on will be finally put behind us.

There are so many possibilities for the origins of the UAPs in the Videos released to the public. They could be extraterrestrial, Interdimensional, time travelers, or possibly even from earth. Experimental technologies of one nation or another, that either our government wishes not to disclose or is not yet aware of. The origin and purpose of the UAPs has yet to be determined or yet to be revealed to the public. One last possibility is that it is no more than a missinformation camaign by our governmet.

Just some thoughts on the subject from a average person, and just what was on my mind at the time.

Blessings and peace to all

This is the only life you are given to live in this time and space we occupy, so you should make the most of it. Life is a precious gift we have received and thus the lives of others are just as precious. How we go through this life, how we live, and how we treat others is solely up to each one of us. I would like to think that since we only have this one life we all would try to live it in harmony with each other and take care of each other as well.

But being the human beings we are, we tend to complicate things with our unbridled emotions and selfishness. We allow anger, hate, and fear to last longer than they were meant to, sometimes we even allow such emotions to rule our entire lives. For the most part, fear and anger are only meant to last for the moment that they were needed and then they are supposed to just turn off. Some of us tend to hold on to anger and fear so long that it becomes hate.

Forgiveness, is something we all need in our lives but tends to be one of the hardest things for most people to embrace. To forgive someone is just as beneficial to the forgiver as it is to the forgiven, some times even more so for the person who forgives. To forgive someone lets you free yourself from the hurt, anger and pain associated with the person you are forgiving. Holding a grudge eventualy causes you more pain and grief than you deserve.

Life is too fleeting and precious to waste time on fear, anger and other negitive emotions. We should try our best to live life with love, compassion and understanding while doing our best to help one another along the way. Enjoy the moment and worry little over the past and not worry about the future for it will take care of itself. Plan for that future but don worry about what it may bring. Live in the moment and be all you are meant to be.

In my lifetime I learned that there are so many people allowed to separate themselves from each other. We use labels to differentiate ourselves from one another, what religion we believe, what color we may be, our political party, nationality, and sex or sexual preference. We all get too wrapped up in what makes us all different from one another and that keeps us from seeing what we all have in common. We all are human beings and I think almost every single one of us wants to live a happy and productive life.

Most of us do not seek out conflict nor find pleasure in the suffering of others and most would rather co-exist with everyone else in harmony. There is always a small percentage that thrives in a negative atmosphere and revels in the suffering of others. We can not avoid those types of people, all we can do is deal with them when they become a threat to others and when they are not a threat to others we need to find a way to not allow them to ruin our day.

I remember how my grandparents were towards other people, they never judged people by what they were labeled, but by how they treated others around them. They taught me to do the same, see a person for how they act, and treat others. That is who that other person is, not their political party, color, and so on. I think some people just want everyone else to be just like them, and if they are not that’s when the trouble starts.

Lately I myself have been dealing with the “you’re old and I’m young” labeling and the discrimination that comes with it. It baffles me, I never looked at elderly people as anything but people. Age does not diminish a person’s worth nor their ability to contribute to society. If anything, being older gives them a sort of wisdom, and insight into things that the younger generation has yet had time to gain.

I am not yet to that elderly age, but I am getting closer every day, and boy the perception of time sure speeds up as I get older. Well anyways, what I was getting at is that we need to ignore all the labels we put on people and focus more on how people treat one another and realize that we all have something to contribute to this world we live in. And that we all need to help one another through this life since it can be a real challenge sometimes.

Be good to one another, find forgiveness for yourself and others.

Random Thoughts 12-7-2022

I am no expert at anything, I am just an average everyday guy who loves to think, write and be somewhat opinionated at times. I observe life and try to learn from it when I can as well. The last few years have been quite trying for me and others due to the pandemic, conspiracy theories, and the conspiracist behind them. The politically charged atmosphere is caused by the polarization of parties and followers as well.

The loss of relatives and friends during the last few years also have taken a toll on us that suffered such, trying to find some sort of normalcy in this chaotic time we live in is a chore, to say the least. Change is gonna happen and there is little we can do to stop progress and change, all we can do is try to nudge it toward a better outcome for all. All the violence and death from violence, we have seen in the last few years is a sign of fear and hate getting a hold of people.

Fear has its place, but it is not supposed to be the driving force in our lives, anger and hate really are unnecessary things that usually stem out of fear and past actions that caused pain. This is where forgiveness comes into play, to forgive is to let go of the pain caused by others more so than you granting the person who caused the pain a sort of pardon for their actions. Forgiving someone rarely ever makes a difference to the person who did the bad thing, but it does do wonders for the one doing the forgiving.

Fear, on the other hand, is usually created from one’s lack of knowledge, a bad experience that was bad enough to cause fear of it repeating, or an experience one wants to avoid due to some possible negative outcome and the desire to never have change/ desire of staying in what they see as a comfort zone. Fear can be a good thing in the sense it can keep you from doing something that could cause you or others harm, but if you let it fear can cause you to become stagnant and then you wind up missing out on the good things you could experience in life.

Being judgemental usually is a self-defense mechanism in most people, judge others before they can judge you kind of thing. Another fear-based reaction to the world and people around you. Also, it can be a mechanism used to control others, keep them feeling less important and less capable so they can not be a threat to you or your cause, etc. The problem with being judged is that if you do not buy into the judgment and don’t let it control or influence you then it is nothing but wasted words and time. Sometimes being judged by others can actually backfire on those doing the judgment, it can inspire some to go above and beyond to prove the accusers wrong.

Some political leaders love to use fear, anger, hate, and judgmentalism to their advantage, it can sway the masses and keep them divided so they are less aware of what may be going on and less capable of doing something about it if they chose to do so. Some examples are The big red scare in the 1950s, and the communists are coming, the communists are coming mentality. They created a common foe for the populace to rally against, something to hate so they were occupied and controlled by fear.

Sure communism was something to worry about to a degree during that time, but to be honest, there was very little they could have really done to the government. Sometimes I think it was more the big money/corporations that propagated the fear since they had the most to lose financially if communism were to blossom here in the USA. The concept of communism looks okay on paper but as we have seen in communist countries it doesn’t always work out the way it appears it will in the real world.

Fear is something we need to learn to control within ourselves and hate is something we should never embrace, hate tends to divide people and cause nothing but pain and turmoil. Anger on the other hand, though not a good thing to embrace, has its place as long as it’s short-lived and doesn’t result in violence. Anger is an emotion that comes out when you have pain be it emotional or physical and you need that anger to protect yourself for that moment. If you hold onto anger too long then it becomes hate.

If it were a perfect world, we would never feel anger or fear and we would never see hate. We would only love one another and be one big happy family, always helping one another through life. Unfortunately, it is not a perfect world, so we have to work hard at keeping fear and anger to a short-lived experience and hopefully as minimally experienced emotion. We also have to work hard at not being judgemental and or being negatively affected by being judged by others. We also need to be Compassionate, show unconditional love, and be understanding/tolerant toward one another.
