Thoughts for a Happy New Year

2008 Taipei City New Year Countdown Party: The...

With the new year just around the corner it is time to look back on the years past.

Look back on the things that were temporary and those that were meant to last.

Remember both the good and bad that had crossed your path though the year.

Reflect upon all the lessons learned and be positive while overcoming you fear.

Put the past behind you and look forward to what is yet to come your way.

Live for the moment and seize the moment while living fully for today.

Forgive and forget so you can move on into the future burden free.

Be yourself and embrace the full potential of who you are meant to be.

I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New year

BE Yourself

Be Yourself, Never allow the opinions of others change who you really are. Each one of us are unique individuals and each of us have our own special way of interacting with life. Our uniqueness is what makes us human beings a creative species. Who you are is who you were meant to be, no matter what the society, government or religious institutions believe. We have flaws and we have blessings, that is what being human is all about.

Why try and change yourself to fit in what they call the social norm when who and what you are is far more special and unique than to be a uniform drone of society. Too many times I watched the bullies of the so called in crowed push down the unique and good people who where not social conformers. Too many times I watched some of the nicest people I’ve known be bullied until they repressed their true selves or felt they were inadequate and useless.

Some of them survived and thrived as time went on others had their futures squashed by low self esteem and poor self image created by society. If society does not like who I am it can go on without me, I will not try and conform to what their ideal person is supposed to be. In history if you look close it was the ones who were outside societies norm that made the great inventions and discoveries. They chose to walk their own path and discarded any social pressure to conform. This made them free to reach their full potential and bring some of the greatest world changing discoveries and inventions.

Peace to all and to all a Merry Christmas

The Holiday season is upon us

HPIM0012bThe Holiday season is upon us, Thanksgiving has passed but Christmas is just around the corner. We gave thanks for the physical things we have on thanksgiving now Christmas is for us to give thanks for the spiritual salvation and for the grace we have received. It is also a time of celebrating family and friends. Those we love and a sometimes we take for granted are shown love and appreciation on Christmas. We should always celebrate the gifts of love, compassion, companionship and family on Christmas along with the gift of our savior and his message.

Though through the years Christmas has mainly became a materialistic and commercially dominated holiday it still is the church appointed day to celebrate the birth and gift of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught forgiveness, unconditional love and compassion along with the way of peace. He brought those messages along with the message of salvation to Jew,Gentile,Rich,Poor,Powerful, weak, meek and every living soul on gods green earth.

So Love without condition, forgive without hesitation and follow a path of peace.

Merry Christmas to all

“What is the TRUE ORIGIN of Christmas? Where did it come from? Did you know Yeshua the Messiah was born nowhere NEAR December 25, but that was the “birth day” of the sun- god, “Sol Invictus” or “Mithras”? Did you know December 25 was the concluding day of the pagan winter festival called the “Saturnalia“? Where did “Santa Claus” come from? The “Christmas tree”? How did this pagan feast become connected with “Christianity”? Here is an amazing “whale of a tale”!”

Remember the old saying You are what you eat? Well You are the result of what you think. Just like the body needs good food for nutrients and doesn’t need the chemicals and junk food, The mind and body needs positive and happy thoughts to remain in a healthy state. This has been proven time and time again by the negative physical effects from depression, stress and anger along with the positive effects from laughter, happiness and being relaxed. Not only does your thoughts effect your body it also effects your life along with those around you. The more you ponder and or think about something the more of a chance it has to manifest into a reality. It may not manifest in the way you would like or when you would like but it usually will become a reality in one form or another. Of Couse it becomes reality once the thoughts become either a conscious or subconscious action.

“Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.”

“As the plant springs from, and could not be without, the seed, so every act of a man springs from the hidden seeds of thought, and could not have appeared without them. This applies equally to those acts called “spontaneous” and “unpremeditated” as to those, which are deliberately executed.”

– As a Man Thinketh – James Allen

Basically if you go around thinking of the opposite sex in a sexual manner while your married it will certainly increase your odds in the favor of cheating. Just if you think you are going to lose your wife or husband to another person you will start subconsciously creating circumstances that will push your partner in that direction and that increases the chance of them either cheating or leaving. Of course  there is a good chance they also will stay true and by your side but the thoughts that started this will still effect your relationship in a negative way.

“Clean thoughts make clean habits. The so-called saint who does not wash his body is not a saint. He who has strengthened and purified his thoughts does not need to consider the malevolent microbe. If you would protect your body, guard your mind. If you would renew your body, beautify your mind.”

“To live continually in thoughts of ill will, cynicism, suspicion, and envy, is to be confined in a self made prison-hole. But to think well of all, to be cheerful with all, to patiently learn to find the good in all–such unselfish thoughts are the very portals of heaven; and to dwell day by day in thoughts of peace toward every creature will bring abounding peace to their possessor.”

– As a Man Thinketh – James Allen

You think therefore you are, you think and therefore you become.

Well Peace
