Memories of my youth, memories of sunny days and picnics by the river. Sunshine warming my body and friends to hangout with. Family members gathering and enjoying life for all it was worth. Those days have long gone but their influence on my soul is still with me. My friends have moved on and forgotten about me and family members are less now days. Ah the beauty and wonder of the innocence we had in youth, dreams of happiness and fulfillment. The desire to belong and to be a part of the world we live in and all of its splendor as well. Some of the dreams remain and so does the desire to be a part of something. Unfortunately the innocence is lost in time and through our experiences in life, though we lose our innocence we gain wisdom and knowledge to help us through our journey.

You can learn so much from kids and teens, their unfiltered view of the world and their ability to see things in a simplistic way. Seems as we grow older we attach a lot of unnecessary garbage to everything we experience in life as we grow older. I remember my father telling me a many of times that it isn’t as simple as that to me when i would express my opinions on things i observed as a child. I look back at a lot of those observations and i came to conclusion a good portion of them were that simple if not more so. Seems the older we get the more complicated we make life, we overthink most situations and add on beliefs and thoughts that complicates our lives. Some things are just black and white, those that are not are still not as complex as we make them. Sometimes i think we just allowed the world we live in to cloud our ability to see things clearly and block our ability to see things in their unadulterated pure form.
Much wisdom comes from the mouths of babes, the innocence they possess is a gift that allows them to see things as they really are.

Sometimes I just kick back and think of how many times I failed to reach my goals, how many times I allowed the failure to disrupt my life and how foolish I was to allow it to do so. Failure may not be something to strive for but it is a something we all must face from time to time. Through failure one can learn a lot, you learn not only what not to do or how not to do it, you also learn a lot about yourself and what you need to change. Failing isn’t the end of the road, it is but a pothole that you ran over. So don’t let it become a roadblock or worse. Every great inventor had to have many failures before they found the right design, Edison went through many failures on the light bulb before he got the right design to make it work. So failure is something we all must deal with along our way to success.Main thing is to never give up, keep on trying until you exhaust every option you have. Eventually you will find the right combination and or plan to make it work.
